    Recess troll motor tray in a 2000 911 CDC

    I just bought a Ultrex and the foot pedal is wider than the original tray in my 2000 911CDC so I want to install an aftermarket tray but my original tray has fiberglass reinforcements on both sides of the tray which extend to a bulkhead which extends across the bow behind the back seat pedestal hole. I am concerned about cutting these braces out which might weaken the floor. Has anyone installed a deeper tray in a 911 CDC like mine? Thanks for any suggestions!

    I had the same concerns with my Ulterra on my Z 20. What I did was make a plate to cover the hole and put the foot control on top of it. So far it is doing ok.
