    Kentucky and Barkley lake Crappie

    I’m Having back surgery Wednesday morning and plan to take Monday and Tuesday to do a little Crappie fishing. because I will be laid up for a couple of months any current reports would be appreciated.

    Sucks is all I am hearing from lots of folks. Might want to look into going to Rend Lake I’m Southern Illinois, buddy wearing them out up there.

    Went for a couple of hours today. Caught 3 spiderrigging using jigs and minnows. I'm gonna try it again tomorrow, theyre pulling a lot of water right now.

    Well didn’t get skunked but didn’t wear them out either. Gonna try again tomorrow. Caught 5 today.

    Good luck to ya on your surgery! I'm gonna try it too tomorrow. Saw where a guy caught some shallow, gonna try some of my shallow spots in Willow and Nickell tomorrow.

    Went yesterday and I bet I looked at 100 brush piles and didn't see any crappie in any of them. Use to get graphs blacked out with those yellow strippers, cant even see them any more.

    Only 4 today and one big red ear and and a perch. Didn’t know those yankee fish had made it down here. Say a prayer for me tonight or early morning that my surgery goes well. Thanks guys!!

    That is some fat slabs on the tailgate of that truck. It makes me want hush puppies and slaw just looking the the picture

    Buddy of mine caught 40 the other day pretty quick, went out the next day and wacked them good again. Sounds like I need to ask some questions
