Thoughts on my tail spinner on steroids please...

I'm trying different blades and sizes. These are roto blades that look like tails. The baits are through wire constructed in 3/4oz, 1oz and 1.5oz

***EDIT*** Page #3 has different blade/prop combos.

Pretty neat, how do you plan to use them?

Damn fine looking baits there!!! Are the front hooks on backwards? Looks like they would close up against the body with the points up and in when a fish hits, instead of down and out where the hook-up would be much better. Regardless, fine looking baits!!

These are not painted or clearcoated... Just prototypes for now. I have some Dakota blades comming to try on a clevis... I want the spinner to look like a tail.

I'll fish/swim these in deep water like a swimbait/crankbait/spinnerbait when the bass are eating baitfish.

No... This is the correct way to attach them. These baits are thin and have plenty of hooking gap.

Yes... These were designed long before the whopper plopper style baits.

I would give them a shot. Looks like it would do good slow rolling in the winter time. Do you plan on selling any?

    Great looking lures.

Do you have a favorite size?

Would like to get some tips on fishing these.

Most of our bass waters are tidal rivers and bays with some rivers and reservoirs North of here.

I just made these this weekend. I have not fished them yet. They swim great in my 90 gallon tub lol...

If you use ctrl and scroll on your mouse, You can size the quarter to actual size. Then you can see the baits actual size. Push ctrl 0 to default size when done. That is the reason I add a money object to some of my pics.

I don't sell my stuff. I just like to tinker and get other peoples opinions and ideas. Thanks.

Is there a reason for putting the line tie on top rather than on the nose?

You make some cool looking baits Mike. I still throw the old style tailspins every long once in a while.
