Phoenix 721 vs Triton 21X Elite

Guys how do these boats compare over all. Ride, performance, speed, etc.
may be buying between Jan and March. Would appreciate any insight you might share.

My buddy has a 21hp elite. Nice Boat. Rides close to mine in ride. Mines 1-2 mph faster. Storage is a Toss up depends on customer. Elite package has a few more nice things. Livewells are both really good and big. Triton has a little wider front deck.

I would say a more fair comparison would be the 921 or 21 PHX vs a 21 TRX Elite both in performance and in price. A 721 will cost less but, but nonetheless is one of the best hulls on the water. You will see guys talk higher speeds but 721 two guys tournament loaded, gas, tackle etc will be around the 70MPH range and the 21 TRX 2018 or older will be about the same. The 2019 21 TRX Elite are faster. Ride wise I think Phoenix has a better ride overall, but understand that the 21 TRX is a slightly larger boat...It prob rides at tad better than a 721 but a 21 PHX or 921 rides better than the Triton IMO. We sell both so I am not biased. The Triton is going to offer a much larger fishing platform than the 721, but the narrow deck on the 721 has still plenty of room to get it done!! Handling goes to Phoenix, easier to balance on pad and turns tighter and easier. Both boats are great but again to be fair I would compare the 21 TRX Elite VS the 21 PHX to be more equal in terms of size and price.

You know much more then me about the Triton but isn't the 721 20'11" and the triton 21 is 21 even or 1" longer. I think the 921 is 21'6" and the triton 22 is like 21'7" or 1" longer. I would think the 721 compares more to the 21 TRX and the 921 would compare more to the 22TRX. just my .02

I think when you only consider length then the 721 is comparable to the 21 TRX. But when considering width and weight, the 921 is more comparable to the Triton. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either, and the difference between the 921 vs 721 vs Triton probably comes down to the owner's perspective. I've been in all three, and think all three ride great, and the difference is minimal. The biggest difference was the deck width between the Triton and 721, but I also thought the Triton was much more "tippy" when moving side to side on the front deck.
