    My new Sportsman 1610

I purchased a new Sportsman 1610 a few months ago. Its fits in my garage and is perfect for the type of fishing I do. It has a 70hp 4 stroke along with a few more options. I upgraded to a Minnkota Fortrex 80 trolling motor, added a Powerpole Micro Anchor and a Lowrance Hook 7 Tripleshot. I had my dealer install a slide on the driver seat since the boat doesnt have tilt steering. I also added a Trailer Step to the trailer for easy in and out access. I'm still in the break in mode with less than 10 hours on it so far. Pretty well pleased with it so far and the crappie seem to love the livewell too.

Nice looking rig. I have been looking at adding a Trailer Step to my 1710. Did the dealer install it or did you do the install? What is the blue roller at the top of the step?

The Quick Step works really great. The dealer shipped it to me and its just two bolts to fasten it on. The blue roller was something I put on initially. I thought I might accidentally hit the trailer step with the bow of the boat but it isnt an issue whatsoever.

The step I purchased is called the Trick Step, very easy to install, just two bolts attaches to winch post. The blue roller was something I put on initially just as a precaution against possibly hitting the step with the bow of my boat. I have taken the roller off because its not an issue.
