    Sounded great....till I got to the AUD part! that would be cool...but thats kinda a high price to pay to prefish with a guy of his caliber, with all due respect to him.

    Itd be a great idea for bassmaster to do a giveaway like this! 8k seems super steep tho

    So that's 5750 us. For that he's supplying a hotel for 6+ days, tackle, etc. I'm going to guess in reality your paying him 3-4k for his time and 1500-2750 is actual costs. I don't think it would be much more than the lower number but sometimes things add up. I don't figure he's buying Walmart bologna and water for his supplied on the water food. I also think his target is Australian and if they are coming here to fish it's like us going to Mexico fishing. They have some disposable income but he's simplifying the trip.

    If he gets a taker it probably covers alot of his expenses. Consider alot of average pros are getting 500-800 for a guide/teaching trip so his deal is really not too bad.

    Good Question....I think some are missing the Point that you aren't this Pro's Coangler once the tournament starts....It's all luck of the draw...Generally the ethical thing to do is not to fish the spots if you prefish with a Pro...It may be against the Open rules to fish Coanglers spots but I can't remember but if it isn't someone throwing 5k dollars out there may expect some waypoints out of the deal..

    Can't you essentially be his co-angler by watching his live streams for free? I get you aren't there casting and for the decision making, but if it's techniques and spots you're after its right there for you on the net. 5K seems like a lot but if you want to go for it more power to you.
