Gen 2 Ultrex Transducer Question

Will the new Ultrex with the Humminbird down image transducer leave enough room for the below Lowrance transducer (HDS 2)? Have a buddy wanting to mix brands on his bow to add a 360.

Well the link below will give you an Idea. I would say it would be tight on the 80# but you may have room on the 112.
With the shield would not work on the 80#. Maybe some one else can chime in.

Rich, I havn't "seen" the MDI unit so I can't tell from experience. Below is the a 112 pic with the MDI and looks like it would have room. The 80 is a little longer motor and should have room.

Ultrex 112 MDI being delivered tomorrow with this exact scenario. I'll post the findings if nobody has done so by the time we check it out.

Thanks everybody, my buddy went ahead and ordered the Lowrance puck and a Transducer Sheild & Saver for the puck. He hasn’t even ordered the Ultrex yet, lol. It does look like the puck will fit, not too sure about the shield. I’ll report back if it does or doesn’t. Don’t hold your breath because it will be a week or two before he orders and receives the Ultrex.

Update - We were able to fit the Lowrance puck (w/saver) behind the built in Mega unit housing, and in front of the fin no problem on the 112 Ultrex MDI.
