    WHITE OR BLACK HULL

We have our Z518 L on order and my only concern is to go with a white or black hull so I am asking for a few opinions. The hull color is shadow mist with carbon mist and red mist stripes silver anniversary top cap with shadow mist inside it will be a pretty bright boat and I see the trend for hull color is mostly black. I think black or white will look good and I am leaning to the white, please chime in with opinions as I need to finalize color on Monday Thanks in advance.

It looks like there is no other white on the boat so black is my choice.

I've had both. I disagree. Always had to wipe a scum line off the white one. Not as noticable on black.

I’ve had both love the black hull 100 times better. The white hull I had I always had to scrub and really work to keep clean.

My white hull is four years old and I always get asked if I just bought it.

White may show scum line....but black will show nicks scratches or rubs alot more. That being said....black is still sharper when kept in good condition.

I would say if you fish around a lot of stumps etc like we have in Oklahoma then a white one. If you fish a lot of deep water and scratches aren't an issue then mabey black.

I have a Navy colored hull on mine and have no problems with it. My dealer told me that most Rangers he sells, the customers prefer a dark hull. Don’t know if the fish know the difference in a white hull or dark hull on not.

White. Easy to clean pair with a black Hamby. Also easy to repair.

A few people have mentioned a charcoal bottom, now my choices are white, black and charcoal. the cover will be charcoal I think charcoal may be a good compromise between black and white.

My last three rangers all had a white hull. My new, on order, ranger multi species will have a charcoal bottom.

I've seen a few Rangers with a gray hull. Pretty sharp
