Ego S2 Slider Net in Phoenix

Has anyone tried the 27" - 60" EGO Slider net in the Phoenix net storage?
Wondering if that thick handle will go in. Thx!

I have one, and I have to remove the handle in order to store it. It will not fit and close with the handle attached. To prevent any damage, I keep a foam piece I made to cap the metal threads of the handle. Net goes in first, then I place the handle side to side. Works great, I've had it like that for a few years.
