    Transfer of YES warranty

    How do you transfer the YES warranty to a buyer? About to sell the boat with warranty left.

    Any Yamaha dealer can transfer the warranty. The new owner generally only needs to show proof of ownership so that the motor can be transferred into his name.

    Exactly what Yam911 said....I bought an iClass that still had yes warranty...My second trip out in the boat, it kicked 2 rods out of the block. I took it to a Yamaha dealer and just had to prove that I owned the boat, complete power head replaced no questions asked after that.
