Interesting. I have seen some big winning fish caught on (red) Traps, but not by me. I'll use it more next Spring.

They've measured the cast, he's mentioned it in his video. Ken seems like a pretty analytical guy.

All of my best fish have come on a lipless bait.

Last season I discovered silent lipless baits ... Dick's (yeah yeah I know) had Duel (Yo Zuri's Japanese half) silent lipless baits on clearance. I bought up a bunch of them. Even though they don't rattle they still put out a hell of a vibration.

I have one tied on every time I go to the lake. I still use the original, Bill Lewis models.

That’s not that far. Kvd claims he throws his 6xd 75 yards. I’m sitting in my looking at my neighbors house. It’s a solid 40-50 yards away. Looking at it, I could easily hit that with a trap.

A trap is one heavy, streamlined bait. I don't see 75 yards, but I can imagine 50 with conventional tackle. It's all up to the rod, reel and the operator. The U.S. casting record is 325 yards, but of course that is using very specialized equipment.
