Fortrex mount

I have an older Minn Kota Maxxum on my boat and was wondering if the holes on a Fortrex mount would be the same pattern. Hope its not a dumb question.

From what I understand the maxxum is the same motor as the fortress just a different mount. I would think the holes would line up but to be sure contact Jones trolling motors on here. He is a board sponsor & would know for sure. I do know the Maximum motor & the Fortrex use the same parts 100%. So if you have a Maxxum, you have a Fortrex just a different mount.

Yes, the mounting holes for an Edge, Maxxum, Fortrex, and Ultrex are all drilled with the same pattern.
