Need help on how to access gas tank on my 2007 294 XL. I want to drain and clean my gas tank and change the fuel pickup and fuel line from tank to water separator filter. Motor randomly cuts out and primer bulb will be sucked in flat. Thinking I can access it under seats but not certain. Also, does anybody have suggestions on how to clean tank out?
Have you checked to ensure your tank is venting properly?
Yes. Vent is on side of boat and you can smell the gas when you get your head close to it. It’s got a screen filter on it and it is clean.
i've never done it, but you have to pull the livewells and storage box inserts and take it out the rear hatch. id wager the seat support post also has to be removed.
