360 Bow Readout Improved by Moving to Helix?

Currently running a 360 bow transducer on an Onix 10. Would there be a pickup of clarity or improvement in the 360 returns by going to a Helix Mega 12? I might make the switch just for the SI improvement of the Mega imaging, but wondering how the 360 will react to the new head unit. Improve? No change?

    I have used the 360 with a 1198, ONIX 10, SOLIX 12, Helix 10 and Helix 12. I prefer the Helix 12 to display the 360.
The Helix 12 display has about 1,100 more pixels per square inch than the ONIX 10 and is large enough to have the same image size as the ONIX 10 and still have room for another view beside it for mapping or 2D sonar.

I bet the screen would be brighter on the Helix, I can never get the screen as bright as I would like on the Onix.

I just switched from an 1199 to a Helix 12 for bow 360 imaging and am very pleased with the results. It made a huge difference in my opinion.

Did you remove the 1199 when you installed the new Helix? I've been considering this but thought about keeping the 1199 at bow and console for map... adding new Helix units to bow and console and networking everything together.

I kept the 1199 up front and use it for mapping and 2d...it is a great set up next to the helix 12 for 360. You will not be disappointed!
