Yeah we get Macouns here .. very popular apple around here most grown in NY... a little tart for my taste.. I am a sweet apple junkie
I was just going to make an apple post but you beat me to it .. went to the store for salad stuff and while going through the apple isle I noticed a new apple ! Brayburn apples ... super crisp but not as sweet as I had hoped like snap dragons ... hoping a few days on the counter they will sweeten up

I saw the snap dragons today. Almost got some. We have had the Braeburn before. They are good.

You just ain’t had a good apple .. most apples I had ever eaten were pretty tart so I didn’t eat that many apples yearly until this year ... so many good apples available now .. I would almost call them desert applesI hate apples....unless they’re baked inside a pie.
