    replacing shaft on XI5..help please

I have an XI5 that is a few years old and love it but have had to have in the shop a couple of times. I found anouther one for sale but the the shaft is 54" and mine is 60". Was thinking of buying it for a back up but was wondering how hard it would be to change the shaft. And does anyone know how much one would cost? Its not under warrantee so not worried about voiding it. Am pretty machinal so I think I could figure it out....but you are the experts. Any help?

The 54" shaft is apx $50.00. It uses a special epoxy/locktite to set and screws in and out the lower unit. Threads must be cleaned after removing the shaft as part of the old shaft will remain in the threads.
