Have you done anything yet to try and fix the problem like new spark plugs?

    Fuel pressure:

    -At idle
    -Under Acceleration
    -15/30/60 seconds after engine shutdown?

    Compression?

    Reeds Inspected?

i honestly dont have any of the above answers, guess ill need to send it in,but its sad to say the last time i sent it in was not fixed(an overheat problem)and the only way i was able to figure out the issue was on this board(leaking head gasket/seal)Does the fuel pressure need to be checked in the water or can it be on muffs.I will be addressing the issue in the near future.I see a factory manual in my future.

I highly recommend the service manual, then you can perform most of the test fairly easy, though some may require moderately priced tools, though cheaper than paying for testing and maintenance.

    +1 to that!

You'll be "empowered" with one those manuals sleeper bird, and in many cases, if you save one hour of shop labor doing something yourself you've paid for the manual.

Have you tried pumping up the primer bulb before trying to start it?
