    History Question About Indians

In all the movies and pictures you see with Indians they all seem to be clean shaven. How did they do that? Not a one with a beard or mustache...SB...

I remember reading somewhere Native Americans did not have facial hair, a genetic thing, until they mixed with European blood.

I've seen plenty of pictures of Indians with beards. Native Americans not so much.

Someone on here says they all walk in single file, at least the one he saw did.

My wife’s grandfather was 100% Native American who lived till he was 90. Never shaved a day in his life. Smooth as a babies bottom.

Now I'm offended. According to the Anthropologists, there is no such thing as a "Native American". They came from either Polynesia or Asia, or both. So they're no more "native" than I am...just "first". In Canada, the terminology is "First People" or "First Nation", which I endorse completely.

I tried to google it but to many answers. This is one of them.

No, genetics won’t allow it, unless mixed with some other race. Ha ha, I’ve tried for four years to grow a mustache by shaving my face. No such luck.

As noted, very little facial hair or body hair in general if pure lineage.
