What's the best bow mount for graph

I'm looking to get a new mount for the front of my boat. I don't like ram mounts. I'm looking at bass boat technologies mount. What do you guys run.

I like the models that go over the recessed pedal. Here's the one I made myself for basically nothing.

Another vote for Balzout. I have one at the console and just love it.

Don’t think it matters as long as it’s sturdy. I’m using a Dek-it over TM mount and it is very good.

I just mounted mine where the flush mount opening is with the factory gimbal bracket. Works great.

My neighbor had some extra pieces of aluminum lying around. It is 1/4” thick, so it is very strong/sturdy.

Precision sonar. You'll pay for it though, but they're solid!

I have had them all and went back to the largest RAM Mount.

Make your own. Really pretty easy.

This one has been on since 2013 with no issues other than the crappy Lowrance bracket cracking at the knob mounting slots. I made a new one out of 3/16" 6061T6 aluminum and used there plastic "C" notched attachment.

No matter if you buy/make one I believe the weakest part of the mounting is the Lowrance bracket. As these MFD's have gotten bigger & heavier the OEM brackets haven't changed other than to increase in overall size to accommodate the MDF. You suspend one of these "TV's" on that thin bracket and it takes the brunt of any rough water impacts and you can see it violently shaking during the process.

I have been really happy with my Precision Sonar mounts on my last 2 boats. Very solid.

I had a local shop make me one out of what was basically a piece of scrap aluminum they had laying around. Sprayed it with rustoleum bedliner. Cost me a pizza for the guy that did it, and looks identical to OhioChamp's mount.

Balzout mount is very stable . I had the Ram mount and with the Helix 10 and it was not stable. I started using the Balzout and it does not move once locked down.

TXZ21, that’s a very nice looking set up! Is that a troll jacket over your Tm wires? I want to cover the rigging wires back by my outboard and something like that would work. Looks great!

Thank you. Yes sir, that is the original "Troll Jacket". I think he sold out and they are for sale now through TH marine.
