How to determine which year a Stratos or Javelin was made.......

As in my other thread, Im searching for a boat and it has led me to the Stratos/Javelin line. What Ive learned in 98 both lines went to "100% composite" construction. But how do you tell the difference in the boats from a 95-96-97 to the 98 models? Specially in the ones with the same model number? I know some have stickers that say say it, but what if they dont have a sticker? Appreciate any help ya can give.

The last two numbers of the hull number will be the year it was made.

They started the Javelin Renegade series in 1999 I believe, all composite hull.

As previously mentioned the last two digits are the year model. If my memory is correct only a few models of Stratos were 100% composite in 1998. In 1999 all Stratos and Javelin were 100% composite and tdt91 is correct. 1999 was the first year for the Javelin Renegade series.
