Does anybody need a Hydro Quad IV in a 30" pitch for your A-boat?

I have a really nice one that just isn't the fishing load prop I want. My 29 and my 27 do great for now. Nothing wrong with it at all. I'd let it go for $750.00 if somebody wants it, or I might consider a trade it for a 28" Hydro Quad IV in great shape. The price is shipped to your door from Decatur, Alabama. Text or call me at 256-560-1614 if you are interested. First come first serve since I don't want any hard feelings. These old style Hydro's are really hard to come by as most of us know.

I've got a 28 and 30 q4x0b's that are my primary props. Hard to beat, the 30 has been 3 mph slower that my top end props.

Mine is an XOB and I can turn up the rpms and speed better with the 29 also. I believe this 30 is stiff to be honest. Runs more like a 32 to me than it does a 30.

I'd love to find a good old style 28" Hydro Quad IV XOB if anybody has a lead on one.

Tim Powell’s old 29 could likely be bought... new owner seems to like the promax props...he’s not on here but I can look into it if
    You would like.

Since I am thinking about selling my boat and a certain someone has not taken me up on my offer to include both custom props with the sell I guess I could be talked into selling my 3 yr old 28 hydro xob that was built for my 2+2. Todd left it thick for durability so plenty of metal to do whatever you want with it. Was saving it to run 90+ once my motor was dependable but that has never happened. I would sell it for the same as Johnny did. $750 to your door.

John is it the old style prop? I tried a new style 28” XOB out on the blue and white boat Joe Lee has now and it didn’t do well. If it’s the old style like my 27 and my 29 it should run great.

From my understanding it is the old style. Bought new from Todd when I bought my boat, have the receipt to verify date. In the march or april of 2016 range.

Dean I honestly can't tell you. I do know there is a big difference though. I had heard the new ones were nowhere as good performing as the old models and when I got a new model prop from a friend 2 years ago to try out it was crazy bad. Tim Powell had his boat at my place so we bolted it on his for a good tryout and it wouldn't perform worth a hoot on it either. I sent it back to my buddy who I believe got his money back. He was selling it because it was on a Bullet he had and it wouldn't run on it. He and I though maybe it was just the boat. I have heard that they are gearing up to recast in the USA again and will be turning out props again in 2019.

John if you don't mind me calling Todd to confirm its the old style I will. If it is the old style I will take it off your hands for your price.

Let me know if you need any numbers off of it or the exact date of purchase or whatever, nothing to hide.
