    Barrel thread protectors

I have a Browning Xbolt 300 WSM and it has a muzzle brake on it and I’m wanting to remove it and buy a thread protector to put on It because it is just too loud with the brake on it so I’m hoping for some help finding them and finding what size to buy. Any help is appreciated

The standard thread size for 30 caliber muzzle threads is 5/8-24. If it is a factory brake and the muzzle is too small for 5/8 threads, it could be something non-standard and a thread protector might be hard to find unless you have it custom made.

Slick Rick pm me your address. I think I got one in my gun room. I'll look tomorrow and mail it to you.

Be sure and check POI after changing muzzle device.
