Need help figureing out wires colors for Horn/nav light assembly
two of my wires came out of the bottom of my horn assembly specifically the nav light portion. the black wire is in the middle but there looks to be a red wire and gray wire which pulled out of the assembly and I dont know where they go was wondering if any one knew which wire goes where or has a picture of one with the wires intact. I was gonna fix it with a soddering kit.

What year and model boat do you have? A wiring diagram has been attached to the underside of the rear compartment for quite a few years. The bilge and battery area. If you have an older boat without the diagram, let us know and someone can probably help.

You should be able to figure out which is which by using a 12 volt test light, hooking it up and throwing switches/horn button on and off.
Black is probably ground.

Oh yes I forgot about that on the back hatch. I have a 2003 ranger comnache 521vx. Thank you both for helping out.

On my Ranger the black is ground and I have a orange with black coming from my horn switch
