Amen!! Those Host campers are awesome!! I know that a 350 is in my future in another 6 months or so but I'm keeping my crewcab 250 shortbox. I know the 350 is going to be a supercab, but having internal struggle between the 6.2 gas or 6.7 diesel and SRW vs DRW. Although I'll not get rid of the Northstar, may be getting a TT or 5'er when the grandkids go with us. Decisions-decisions.

Love my Host cascade. The Ram longhorn 3500 dually handles it great. Did add a sway bar and lower stable loads. The Ram and the Cummins is a beast
I have a Lance 855s and pull a Ranger 119c with a Ford F-350 doing the work. I did use an F-250 V-10 to pull and haul the same set up but I had suspension up grades on my F-250. Torklift makes some awesome suspension upgrades. I had camper and snow plow package on both trucks.Good Luck
I have a 2012 Ram 2500 6.7 and a Lance 825. I have pulled my Allison all over North East Texas and all over Arkansas . It is perfect for two people
If you will be camping with the wife, you need a bathroom.
If not, you want a bathroom.
Scale verification (not brochures) will give you true weight - people 'overload' all
the time, but at least know by how much.
If you get a slide, make sure it does not block the bathroom when retracted.
We have an '05 Dodge 3/4 ton with a Lance 815 - almost 300,000 miles and have been
to all states/parks in the lower 48 plus Alaska.
+1 on 'perfect for two people'.
Do not take your half in the middle ....
We are looking at the high end truck campers with a HD 4X4 underneath.
Allowing us the advantage of limited 'off road' use with proper clearance.
Our 'bucket list' ... the US National Parks in the 48 contiguous states.
Of course, we need to be gone at least 1/2 the year for it to work out.
Once we are ready to head out, the package will be seriously discussed.
We are seriously liking the Host RVs, they seem to be top shelf for sure.
