    Which generation Revo Winch?

I have a Winch that I want to sell. It is the dark blue one so either gen 1 or 2 but I can't remember which. What are the differences so I can figure which this is and be accurate in my description?

It would be safe that it's the 2nd generation.

I had a Gen 2 Revo Winch and it was not dark blue, it was black.

Gen1 Revo Winch were dark blue with a gold drag star and a longer handle than an S, SX, STX. Concealed centrifugal brakes inside the side plate. Abu made no changes on the winch while the others received a Gen2 refresh. The winch was redesigned for Gen3 and then Gen4.

You likely have the Gen1, which is about as bullet proof as they come.

Thanks for the responses. From what I’m seeing online, the gen 3 is black not the 2. Does anyone have a good suggestion on selling price? It rode around on the boat for a couple years so not mint but pretty close as I hardly ever used it.

I sold mine for $130 on ebay few years ago as I did not use it that much.

lately, I am regretting it because I want that specific reel for swimbait purpose.
Im pretty sure that I will get it "back" when I get my bonus.
