    819 question

Never posted here but just looking for some info about these boats. Just looking at a future upgrade and doing some research and really like the looks and features of these boats. Like the size of the 819 just wondering what kind lf speeds guys are getting with a 200? I would be going. With the pro xs v8 no question. This will be my dad and my boat sort of like his retirement boat. Looking at the basscat p2 as well. Any info appreciated guys!

I have slightly over 53hrs on mine, don't do a lot of high speed driving so can't get through the chinewalk yet. I can get 66mph with just me pretty easy. Most that can drive them will say they get 70mph. If looking for a little more, go with a 919 which is the same hull but rated for a 225.

I have a 619 which is the same boat just older model....i can hit 70 no problem with mine and of course depends on loads and such.....i think i'm on the best sweet spot possible cause i have little to no walking.....i can let go of the wheel for about 10 seconds before it will start to lean to one side......have to 2 stroke Pro XS so not sure what the new 4's can do.....awesome boat, LOVE mine......since i got it, have done some upgrades here and there......

I am still breaking mine in. I have been to 70.3 gps, but the chinewalk was pretty bad and I could not correct it because I do not know how to yet. As mentioned above the 919 is a rocket. 819 is very comfortable and drives really well. It will turn on a dime and the new motor sounds great. Seems like the hole shot is quick but my old boat was a plow.

I have a 2016 with a 200 proxs and I can run 67-69 all day. I have hit 71 by myself but honestly I usually only run about 55-60 on long runs and it runs like a dream.

Here is a 619 running 70 with a 360lb driver, that guy in the camera boat is in a slightly faster 919, the 819 is an awesome 70 mph boat

not many out there yet with the 200V8

I have a 2016 and it will run 68mph gps with 2 men loaded to the max. The hole shot and handling is amazing even with this load.

Your going to like the extra width of the 819 deck over the Bass Cat. Also the 819 will have all premium SS Southco latches which are standard on all Phoenix boats. The rough water ride in the Phoenix will be way superior to any other 19& 1/2' boat out there. I highly recommend taking a ride in one.

Also, Phoenix customer service is second to none.

This is kindof what we are looking for. Being able to run 55-60 without screamin the motor thanks for the info.

I did notice it seems wider. My cousin used to have a p4 and it was a sweet rig but idk if i could get used to the trolling motor pedal location. Thats my only real gripe on those. These phoenix rigs just catch my eye for some reason.

    Roy,
I came from a tracker txw 175 and would never look back. I think you would be extremely happy with the 819 pro. Fishes awesome, rides great and looks bad ass!! Only thing I think you'll miss is upgrading that sick tracker you have !! Good Luck

Trimmed up correctly at 55-60 will run through a lot of chop real nicely. Not even working up a sweat.

Glad you are liking your upgrade. This boat has been great but we fish bigger lakes more often now and kindof tired of getting beat to death in the slow lane on the rougher days. Probly be a couple more years but planning on alot of research for when the day comes.

That's exactly why I upgraded. Started fishing a lot of big water and it as just too much for the tracker. We fish Champlain a lot now and love it .

    '18 819 w/ 200 XS (2 stroke)
71.0 GPS (full tournament load, full gas, just me).
    24P Fury 3
    3-1/16" PTP (Factory Position Surprisingly)
    10" Zlock Manual Jack

Coming from a Champion I had to learn how to drive a performance boat, freaked me out above 65 MPH. Now second nature.. Ride is incredible for a 19'8" boat, blows my buddies Nitro Z20 out of the water in rough water, speed, handling, etc... Don't let the 200 HP of the 819 over the 225/919 fool you, the 819 is a sports car on the water.
