    Helix G3N units

    So I’m in the market for another helix unit and considering a SI mega+ G3N but it seems like no one has them in stock yet and I’ve been hearing transducer issues. Just curious, any word what the issues are?

    I’m in no rush as our water is getting more ice everyday at this point but just curious if the transducer issues are a hint to take a good deal on a G2 and wait for the bugs to get worked through. Thanks for the information, Scott

    A few Helix G3N models shipped initially (Mostly DI units) but All the SI MEGA + units have been delayed. According to a Humminbird Rep, looks like some time after the first of the year before we see them. We are still taking pre-orders if you're interested. Regarding transducer issues, I'm not sure what problems have been reported.

    Wow, it's gone out now till early next year before they will be shipped out. Must be something going on. So much for getting the unit I ordered before Christmas, ������

    Agree Roy...I have no idea what the delay is but I know for sure it isn't because they have too many GEN2's leftover and need to clear inventory. If I receive any updates, I will post them here.....Thank you for your patience !

    Brian, no problem waiting on my end, too much snow to go. I'd rather them take their time and ship out a good product.

    It is done just like the G2N MEGA SI, SOLIX SI transducer and HDSI transducer, the same transducer is used for transom and trolling motor. Just need a trolling motor mount.
    It is already shown on the Humminbird website.
