Gambler 209 te - Cable Steer to Hydraulic Steer

As title suggest have a 209 te with Mercury Pro Max 200 on it that has cable steer and i'd like to convert to hydraulic steer. Would be first time having a boat with hydraulic steer so know little about it.

Looked into SeaStar and was told the following would the HK6400A-3 would be a good set-up.

Any thoughts or opinions? Also assume the 18ft hoses would work, did a little rough tape measure work and seemed okay.

Thanks in advance for your time

I had a 94 209 with cable steering that I changed to SeaStar. It took me 2 days as I did it by myself. I had to rent a wheel puller and enlarge the helm hole for the new unit. I could not get the old cables out so I just tucked them under the cap. You may need some help with the bleeding of the system. It will be well worth the $ and time to convert. Good luck..
