    MinnKota Fortex turning issue

I have a MinnKota Fortex 101 thats binding up when turning. When you press the button on the foot pedal and under power I can not rock the pedal at all to turn. I have to let off the power then I can turn the motor. Even then sometimes its hard to turn. It seems to be binding up or something. I have adjusted the cable tightness but the problem still exists. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a bent outer shaft(big Part of Shaft) or there is some issue with the pinion screws that hold the pinion gear on the shaft. One of the four screws could have backed out and fell in between the main shaft and outer shaft.
I would bring to an ASC.
