    Well I would love to try this lake out. I will get up there one day. It is a good day to just get there dragging a boat. But I do love Rayburn.

    Well I would love to try this lake out. I will get up there one day. It is a good day to just get there dragging a boat. But I do love Rayburn. I would have thought that one of these west Texas guys would have jumped at my offer....haha

    Get you a partner and come on. I'm about 80mi north of Ivie and can make Rayburn or Toledo in about 7.5hrs. Doubt it would be much faster without the boat. Lived in Friendswood for about 9mo 8 yrs ago and made that drive in about 7 without the boat.

    Like Reggie said, it's not that far, if your coming anyway I don't see the big deal in pulling a boat. We pulled all the way to Kentucky Lake last year, stand on the gas and roll on.
