    Linking 2 Echomap Plus Units

    Hi guys,

I have two Echomap Plus Units and I would like to connect with the purpose of sharing waypoints and transducers.

Do I need an NMA2000 or is there any cable to link both units (Ethernet)?

    Thanks for your support

The ethernet cable.....BUT if you will be adding/installing any version of Panoptix then you will need the ethernet port.....

Here is how i have mine connected to my Merc 200 Pro XS......i installed a MercMonitor Level 1 in the dash and then connected it to the nmea network and of course my unit is connected to the network also......as for your motor, i am not sure but i would think the Mercmonitor or the Mercury gateway that will connect to your nmea network. Either ask on the Mercury forum here or your local dealer.

If you do ask on here they will need your motor serial #....
