    Boat wax

What brand of wax are you guys using that mates well with Ranger gelcoat. I have a Black Out Edition boat and have tried Collinite which is supposed to one of the best, but I am not impressed with it at all!

Collinite is known for long lasting protection not so much for shine.

Every customers boat that leaves my shop has 2 coats of ProTec Sealant Polish. Easiest to apply, remove and last a good while. Best product I’ve used.

Looks like Pro-Tech is in the lead. Keep 'em coming! I wonder if Dawn Dishwashing liquid will remove Collinite?

Pro-tech nu moisturizer (if any oxidation, at all), then their Sealant Polish.

Pro-Tec, shines like glass. Seals the gel coat. The water line from fishing all day just wipes off with no effort, great stuff.

I use a Lucas spray product and spray it on when I get out of the water and just wipe it down. Great product. I have an 08 model and still shines like new. It is sold just about everywhere. Below is a link to it on Amazon.

I use Lucus SlickMist spray wax. I spray it on at the ramp after each trip. Removes grime, water spots...especially on the motor...boat looks brand new 24/7. You can find it almost anywhere.

I like StarBrite w/ PTEF, seems to last a long time on my hull. Got about 6months of beading out of it.

Just curious, what do you all do about the parts of your hull that are covered by the bunks when you are waxing...I did all of my boat, including the bottom of the hull, except the areas covered by the bunks.

Got a 2018 521 L. Can't even get my fingers between fenders and hull. Went to Harbor Freight the other day and got me a low profile 3 ton floor jack with Cross Beam attachment. Gonna put a carpeted 6 X 6 timber on it and lift the back end off trailer this winter and give it a total wax. I use

Zaino polish after I clay the hull. Then I use their detail spray when I leave the water on too long after pulling it out of the river.

Lucas slick mist on boat and trailer. Hot sauce(from TW) for the black beast on back. Removes water spots and prevents a build-up. spray and wipe
