Hmm. Used once, $125.00. I have bought parts from that dealer before and gotten quick service and good part price. Many types of different motors way back to flatheads have had valve spring compressors many just like this one are model specific. Sure looks like (no moving parts) a simple piece.
If any one else was going to try to adjust their valves we could buy it and rent it out. There was some item that the users of either this or some other motor website bought as a group and it went from person to person but I forget what or where it was. I forget a lot these days.

I have an 08 df250 on my saltwater key largo, just under 500 hrs, only issue I had was the boat had ethanol gas in tank for 2 years from previous owner and I had to replace all the filters. Starts great, quiet, great mpg, I like mine so far.

I have a 250ss on a Falcon 205 it’s been flawless so far. Super hard to prop and not as fast as other engines. I am happy with mine and will buy another one.
