Heard of them being around Ivie in the winter but, never had the privilege of see them around here in person. I did see a pair on T Bend while visiting Cork Puller.

We did too in the spring at T bend. Two years ago I was was going out to the shop and a Bald Eagle was on the telephone pole next to the house. It looked to be atleast 3ft tall, he didn't stay very long and hauled ass. I didn't realize how big they are until I saw this one upclose. It was December when it was here, don't know why we don't see one different times of the year.

Have seen them on Fork and Purtis Creek many times. Also saw a bunch on the Snake river in Wyoming.

There are multiples on Rayburn. Pair each in Harvey, Veach, and Five Fingers.

I stop fishin and just watch in amazement .
They have become pretty abundant here at T Bend.

Several times I’ve seen them circle, swoop and snag a fish. Awesome sight.

Nice pics. The first shot is very cool. I see a lot in east Texas. Never have seen one on Ivie, or anywhere else in west Texas.

Awesome!! I've seen them on T Bend, Rayburn and Fork, but never in this part of the state. Like Troy, I usually just stop and watch.

We see them in Florida pretty frequently and every time I just watch them. They’re beautiful birds and the sounds they make are pretty cool!

They like very tall trees. I think that’s why they are so abundant on Toledo.
