Tell Colton, he might want to bring a Ice Augar. . He might be able to Fish at Lake Vermillion Ramp in Danville...has some docks and a boat house I don't think below the Dam is very accessable but I never went over to the Dam. South side of Road that splits the Lake is much deeper because the Dam is on South side of Lake.... He could drive to Lake of the Woods forest preserve in Mahomet (45 miles). There are several lakes and a club member caught a nice Muskie off shore on LoW> 10 years ago......Tell him to stop in Champaign and visit the Rural King (Love that Store).

Also in Mahomet off 47 heading towards 72 there is a gravel pit they opened up one of the old pits for bank fishing and kayak fishing. River bend Forrest preserve. if he google earths the area should be able to find it.
