    Mercury 200 pro xs surging

    I dont know if this is the right place to ask this but I have a 2012 mercury 200 pro xs and at blast off in the morning it its kinda like u let out of the gas for a sec and get back into it(surging as I would call it) at WOT but after I stop and fish then crank it back up and move it runs like a champ...any suggestions or have any1 else had something like this happen...thanks in advance guys!

    Are you priming by pumping the bulb before blast off?

    My 2006 225 Pro XS did this several years ago. Wound up being a bad plug wire.

    You should talk to Don Weed, Moderator of the Merc forum and certified Merc mechanic about this. He recommends priming EVERY time you start your motor, not just the first time before launching.
