2000 200hp EFI...2.5L or 3.0L

Looking at a 2001 BassCat with a 2000 200HP EFI motor on it....buyer isn't sure if it is a 2.5L or 3.0L block can anyone help me with this?

He said the serial number IS OT101680

Also is this motor able to record hours ?

Did you try the 2.5L and 3.0L forums? I would bet that someone could probably help you out. And good luck, hope you get the info you are looking for.

its gona be 2.5 and should have the front mounted ecu wich will not record run time, 03 was first year 3.0 l 200 with newer pcm technology, more info on those mtrs in v6 section one down hope this helps ya JOE
