Not letting them dictate what is to transpire, letting the Constitution dictate what is to transpire. If a town allows a religious display on public property, they have to allow other religions to display on public property as well, which is how you end up with things like a statue for the Satanic Temple in a state capitol next to a Christmas tree and a menorah.

The Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, nowhere does it mention freedom from religion. Basically that means that our government is prohibited from designating a state religion. Extremists, however, have taken this to mean that all mentions of religion are banned from public governmental display. Prayers before a game or meeting or Christmas displays on public property hurt no one but the perpetually offended.

As far as Satan worshippers go

How does mr satan feel about candy canes?
That's wonderfully open minded of you. (That reads as sarcasm, but it's meant to be sincere.)
Many pushing for public prayer are not that open.

well i doubt if satanist pray but if they do it would only be to mock Christians anyway and there would be very minimal about of them. Islamist have to pray to a certain direction I think on their knees so that would be tough to coordinate at an event. I think everyone should have equal rights but most of these people are doing this because they are anti Christian and want to take away our rights. Everyone should be allowed to pray.
