Fish On Bass Anglers - 2019 Tournament Schedule

Just a post/spam for FOBA...We are an unaffiliated club based in Montgomery County, MD. Open to all boaters or co-anglers - No probationary periods and no participation/commitment requirements...If you want in, you're in and you can do as much or as little as you like. Not limited to MoCo either, we have members form all over. Northern VA, Baltimore area, Hagerstown, etc... Meetings aren't required except 1 per year to join/re-up.

$60 per year for dues and then tournaments are $30 or $40 each (1-day/2-day) with 100% payback. Divisional format, so boaters and co's don't compete with each other. We average over 50 members per year usually 15 to 20 boats per tournament.

We also use a catch-weigh-release format (MLF-style, but still 5-bass limit) for some tournaments where all boats are provided with identical scales and fish are weighed, verified, recorded, and released. We use this format to fish places with closed seasons or restrictive limits and also in the heat of summer when fish care is a greater concern. It's about half-and-half between CWR and regular weigh-ins.

Next meeting is January 2nd at the Upcounty Building in Germantown (118 and Middlebrook). All are welcome to check us out. We're an easygoing group and have been around 20 years...Good level of competition and fun at the same time. Feel free to post or PM if you want more info.
