    Hobie crack

Newer Hobie that got a scupper hole crack. Reading comments it sounds like it was because of the cart.

I've heard of that but have drug mine over and thru the woods with the cart and so far so good. There was one spot that we had to jump a log with the cart and it bent the cart axle. I like the cart better that the other options.

IMHO, the thinnest and most vulnerable spots on any yak are the scupper holes.

Then, they suggest we put a metal shaft into those holes; drag a 100 lb kayak over hill and dale; bounce it off of curbs...and expect them not to develop cracks.
    Sheesh....

Build a PVC yak cart; add a forward extension to it; attach a rope to the forward extension; pull the cart and the kayak will follow. Rarely need any straps or attachment to the yak at all.
