    Echomap plus 93 sv

Have installed this graph on my Ranger 178C aluminum boat. My problem is in the placement of the transducer. After the boat reaches ten+ mph, I loose bottom. I readjusted the transducer to be level when moving but I now loose bottom at 15 to 20 mph. Would placing the transducer lower in the water help with this issue?

Lower probably won't help cause it will be "plowing" thru the water....it needs to be "skimming" on top and still have contact with water....

Can you post pics of the location?

Looking at your pics and in my opinion, the best i can tell is that you have the ducer to close to the strake on bottom of boat. I think that if you can swap places with the speedo tube and put it bottom of ducer just below bottom of pad that would give you a starting point.
