23 Tempest is equal to what pitch Fury?

I spun my Tempest off during my last Fall trip. I was using the McGard prop lock system and had used it successfully for years so I’m guessing I put that little bell washer on incorrectly.

Anyway, since I have to buy another prop, I was thinking about trying a Fury.

I run a 23” Trophy all summer and it’s a good overall prop and does help my holeshot in the summer months. I run the 23” Tempest for the spring and Fall. The Tempest is a little faster than my Trophy. Both get me to where I want to be rPM wise. Would a 23” Fury produce the same rpms? How would the holeshot compare to the Tempest? Trophy?

May have found my answer. My hull is heavier than most and I don’t have a torque heavy motor. No JP either. Given these facts, it seems I may be better off with the Tempest. Anyone disagree?

Looking for a better holeshot? Get the 22P Bravo1 FS... Gonna be awesome, But 1-3 mph slower on top end.
