Fishing and tackle shows in southwest OH?

I know this is an early start for this question but what fishing and tackle shows are going on this winter? I know there is the Columbus hunting and fishing Expo and the Cincinnati travel/hunting/fishing show. I heard the Dayton show is going to happen again.

What about any smaller events that places put on? Fisherman's Headquaters is talking about holding some event. Dixie Marine is another that has an open house event. Anymore that you guys know of?

    Shows listed in this thread:
Lawrenceburg, IN Show - January 19-20 - Lawrenceburg Event Center
Cincinnati Boat and Travel Show - January 18-20 and 23-27 - Duke Energy Center

i have tried to find places like that up here and they just dont do it any more, i liked the used tackle shows got crankbaits there and did not have to worry about spending an arm and a leg, and use to find blades for spinner baits for cheap as well

Lawrenceburg wasn't bad. I think this coming one will have more vendors and maybe a little more area as I heard they are going to be using the upstairs also. Could be wrong. Columbus was pretty big, and had a lot of plastic's vendors.

East Tn. Fishing show in Knoxville the next weekend after the Lawrenceburg show is a good one.
I,d rather be tried by 12 than be carried by 6

The website for the Lawrenceburg show looks promising.

TE - That is a little to far away for me. I am looking for options within 2 hours from the Dayton area.

The Lawrenceburg show last year was pretty good I’d much rather go to it than chip Hart’s downtown sports and travel show I’m my opinion is a joke. The Tennessee show along with the Nashville show are the best I’ve ever been to tons of tackle, pros walking around showing product and how to,s.

TE - I have not been to the Cincy show in a long time.

Good call Rick. I will try to keep my top post updated with dates as people list them.

I've been to the Cincinnati Boat show the past several years. It's all boats, RV's, travel related vendors, and misc. others. Not much of a "fishing" show at all. But there are a lot of nice boats (bass, pontoons, speed, luxury, etc.)

Being in Kentucky, I can safely say, stay away from the boat/rv show in Louisville...LAME when it comes to fishing stuff. I grew up just north of Dayton and my Dad's bass club, the Stillwater Bass Club, always had a booth at the Hara Arena Boat show. I sure do miss that! Some of my best memories are walking around that place looking at all the tackle, rods/reels, boats, and trying to catch a trout from the trout pond.

That TN show sounds good, but their website lacks a list of vendors, and show is in January. Any more insight on what I can expect to see?

Last couple around Dayton and Cincinnati I went to featured ski boats, jet ski's, pleasure boats and a few multi species and bass boats and salesmen trying to sell Lake time shares on Cumberland/Kentucky/Barkley lakes .

More kudos for the East TN show. Go to this one if you have a chance to. Friendly folks and the gear is unreal. And for those of you into the Pro's, I saw many of them walking around themselves.
