By looking him over I think he is only 3 1/2 years old so has room to grow. If he will stay where he is at until after Sunday he should make it to next year. Season ends Sunday and I am the only one hunting this area.

That’s what I was guessing also. Maybe 3.5. He should be a dandy next year. I’ve gotten to where I talk myself out of killing everything now days. Just enjoy getting out and watching them as much as I used to enjoy shooting them. I eventually have to get a Doe cause my wife starts freaking out if the freezer starts getting low.

Too bad folks ant looking for trophy and just shooting to take the deer, I have never shot a deer so he would be gone.

It all depends on where you hunt ---around here he is a trophy ---Nebraska has lots of big deer
