Too much prop.... The OX66 had a 1.86:1 gear ratio, your new SHO has a 1.75:1 hear ratio. Drop your prop pitch to get the motor in the 5800-6100 range and your speed will come back (assuming everything is correct with your setup). Also, the SHO gearcase likes to run higher than the OX66, I've had both on my personal boat.

My 175 sho turns 6100 running a 15-1/8 t1 prop 22 pitch, different boat, so 23pitch would be a good start.

My 2018 and most if not all Skeeter ZX200 boats with that motor have the 23T2 15 1/8 prop.

23p on my 250. Runs great so far.
Your tach is off. I have a 2004 519vx with 2017 SHO 200 hp and run my 25M VMAX prop to 6100 rpm. I hit 67 mph with this set up.
If tach is off, it is off a lot. I hit 69.6 with only 5400,5500rpm. Are they adjustable?
