    What's the deal?

Is Garmin overstocked, closeout or changing models? What's the deal? Why such a wild sale price? It looks like they be all gone now or will be shortly. Just wondering.

If it's the non plus model then it wouldn't surprise me if they are phasing them out. Could your enlighten us as to where this wild sale price is?

Edit: WOW. It is the plus model. Cabelas has it.

Bass Pro advertised it but the website says unavailable. That's a surprise.

OK. After quick research there are two different ones on Garmin's website. 010-01901-01 and 010-01804-01. The 1901 has the CV52HW-TM transducer. The 01804 just says with transducer. It doesn't specify the transducer model #. Don't know if that means anything or not but that's the only difference I could find. ONEHELLUVADEAL!!

    I doubt it.
    closeout
    a little early for that.
    changing models
I hope so. New models usually mean more functionality.

It could just be that they are using them to make the cash on the LiveScope. Isn't that why they are being bought mostly? To run LiveScope. I give it a big thumbs up for the best bargain for the Christmas season.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth LOL Got a note from GPS Store that mine shipped today. Traveling for work so it will be at least next week to get them on my boat.

    I'm stoked

I agree with you! Very likely Garmin is selling these units (mainly for head units) cheap to gain customers to buy their SOLO Panoptix transducers. LOL!

Livescope is why I bought a 93 while on sale. Haven't bought the livescope yet. Lol but I will. If not for sale, I would still be waiting on both.
I have been hooked, now Garmin just has to wind me in.

Hodges units have the transducer included.

What ever their reason for the discount does not matter. The discounts are great deals.

I wondered if the 93 is Garmin’s “bread and butter” unit and has bunch to move at a good price.

I like the Livescope theory too.

EchoMap is Probably not; Panoptix transducers are! Look at the high tags.

I have no knowledge but if I was in marketing strategery I would slot a Ultra version at 12” ..think HB Mega 10”. Same as Lowrance Hook,Elite Gen, Carbon, Live positioning. Feels like chirp, plus, ultra, 86xx series
