    02 sensor?

Does a 2006 200hp HPDI have an O2 sensor? Where is it and how to remove? Can it be cleaned or easier just to replace? Thanks

    A 2006 year VZ200 has a 3.3 liter block. No O2 sensor.

Is that the difference? The 2.6 has it and the 3.3 that needs it the most doesn't? I know the 225 power head that I did a bit ago did not have it. Cj

I have not looked at all HPDI's but my recollection is that the 3.3 liter blocks don't use an O2 sensor. All of the others do.

A bigger mystery is why the OX66 and other earlier high HP two strokes use a knock sensor whereas the big block HPDI's do not? What was Yamaha thinking?

They weren't! That was the engine out of any of them that needs it! cj
