How much lower unit oil does it take...

to fill the lower unit of a 2015 115 4 stroke with Command Thrust??? Serial #2B224433.

On a side note... What's involved with installing a long shaft extension???... Does the crank shaft have to be replaced, shift shaft???... Reason I ask is because the dealer add the extension to a 2015 Mercury CT 115. I'd like to remove it and go back to the stock set-up... Dan

As I recall it is a bit shy of a quart- any "capacities" are based on an average case in DRY condition when filled.

Actual amount required WILL VARY based on case/machining tolerances, and shimming (all can affect volume).
