    another question

    14" hydraulic jackplate on a 2017 bullet xrs with merc 250 . would you put one on it or leave it off ????

    The experts will be by shortly. I would think if you had the money that it may be a good in a XRS. Since the boats are a little heavier you could get a larger prop for top end and use the hydrologic hack to help get out of the hole better. I am just guessing though. Wait on a professional to come by

    I would say yes. Sometimes wish mine was a hydro.

    Hydraulic is the way to go. For multiple reasons, better shallow water, Better rough water, better holeshot, better topend, You will also get better fuel economy.


    I will NEVER own a boat without a hydraulic plate on it.
