motor size help
will these numbers tell you what this motor is? 6cb00 and ym1 the bore size is 3 13/16 that is me useing a tape line to measure it. thanks for your help.

6CB is telling you that the part was first used on a 6CB prefix motor. 6CB being a VF250LA.
The 00 is telling you that it was the first version of whatever part it happens to be.
YM1 is a factory casting mark.
The bore of a VF250LA piston is 3.78". Pretty darn close to 3 13/16" (3.8125").
What does the part look like that you are seeing and measuring?

Thank you so much for your help. Is this telling me that it is a 250hp? The heads are off so I measured the bore on one of the cylinders. These numbers are molded in the side of the engine. thank you.
